Apple has continued to wow and amaze their consumers. The Macbook line of computers is fun and easy to use, and the Intel processors make the computers fast too. Gone are the days of tapping your fingers while waiting for the computer to complete a task.
Just when you think they’ve done it all, and how can they possibly improve on their great Macbook/Macbook Pro/Macbook Air line, they do it again! Apparently there are some rumors circulating about what the new late 2016 Macbooks will look like, and what cool features they will have. Apparently, Apple has plans to revamp its entire flagship laptop line.
It’s hard to believe that the Macbook Pro could get any thinner than it already is, but apparently Apple wants to do so. Whether they’ll be able to reach the thinness of the Macbook Air remains to be seen, without compromising on power or storage. The new line of Macbooks are also going to be lighter. The Macbooks will still be in two different sizes: 13 inch and 15 inch.
There may be plans in the works to transfer over some of the great features from the iPhone or iPad line as well. It’s believed that lines may be blurred between the Macbook, Macbook Pro, and Macbook Air.
Some features have been tossed around, such as Touch ID, OLED display touch bar, USB-C, and Thunderbolt 3. There could be a fingerprint reader which will be the first non-iOS biometric security system.
The OLED display touch bar will be located where the function keys are currently located on the keyboard. The USB-C will be for faster USB port connectivity. The Thunderbolt 3 is an upgrade to the Thunderbolt ports.
It will be interesting to see if Apple gets rid of the MagSafe charger, which still has the annoying capability of falling too easily out of the computer. But in some instances, this may be their intention, as it could protect the computer, should someone trip over the cord. It’s just that a right balance between staying in the port, and being pulled out before a disaster happens is needed.
Apple says there are plans to use a low-rise butterfly mechanism switch, and thinner battery tech, which had been first released in the 12” Macbook Pro with Retina display.
While Apple continues to make amazing computers, they have yet to delve into the Mac data recovery area. That’s why it’s so important to protect your new Macbook investment with the uFlysoft data recovery tool for Mac. Get it now, and then in the event that one of your computer files goes missing or you have accidentally trashed it, you will be able to easily recover it in minutes.
The time frame for the new Macbook releases is expected to be in the last quarter of 2016. The new Macbooks scheduled later this year are supposed to be some of the most radical changes to date. It will be exciting to see what we could be getting for Christmas.
